Opolo Malbec belongs to our growing family of Bordeaux varietal wines. The 2020 vintage is an estate-grown wine from our To The Moon Vineyard in the Willow Creek District, and our Quinn East and Nichols East vineyards in the Estrella District. This blend of cooler and warmer climate fruit creates a Malbec with excellent natural complexity and dimension.  

The 2020 Malbec offers enchanting aromas of purple flower, boysenberry, blackberry jam and vanilla. Nimble flavors of strawberry and dried cherry are interwoven with notes of tea, anise and light spice. A round, luscious finish persists with tangy acidity and lasting fruit flavors. Aged for 17 months in 22 percent new French oak barrels.
