Opolo Chardonnay comes from the ultra-coastal Edna Valley AVA in southern San Luis Obispo County. Recognized as one of California’s premier Chardonnay regions, Edna Valley is located just five miles from the Pacific Ocean, which provides the daily cooling required for world-class Chardonnay. 

The 2021 Chardonnay was fermented predominantly in French oak barrels to cultivate enhanced textures and complexity. This wine presents luscious aromas of citrus, green apple, stone fruit, butterscotch and shortbread. A smooth, silky palate delivers flavors pear, apricot, nectarine and Crenshaw melon with trailing notes of caramel and light spice. Hints of vanilla emerge on a sumptuously elegant finish.
